2. What you are buying

Two separate services are sold on this site:

Courses (attunements): the sending of a distance attunement for your chosen energy system at the agreed date and time, together with the accompanying course handbook and your certificate of attendance, delivered by email.

Healing sessions: without any course or attunement, a 45-minute distance Reiki session sent at the date and time you choose, followed by 21 days of email follow-up after the first session. A healing session includes no attunement, handbook or certificate; see clause 11 for details.

In these terms the word "session" covers both the appointment at which an attunement is sent and a healing session; provisions that apply to only one of them say so.

No physical goods are involved; everything is provided electronically and at a distance. No special software or internet connection is needed to take part.

3. Price and payment

Prices are set and charged in pounds sterling (£); that is the currency your card is billed in. The price shown is the total; no service charge is added.

You can choose to see prices in another currency — Turkish lira, for example — anywhere on the site, and that choice is independent of the language you are reading in. Converted figures use the day's rate and are rounded up, so they are indicative. The exact amount is shown on the payment page before you pay, and it will not exceed the converted figure you were shown on the site.

Payment is taken by card on Stripe's hosted, secure payment page. Your card details are never entered on sifareiki.com and are not stored by us.

If you are paying from outside the UK you may see and pay the amount in your own currency. The exchange rate and any conversion margin in that case are set by the payment provider.

4. When the contract is formed

The contract is formed when payment completes successfully. At that moment your booking is confirmed and a confirmation email with a calendar invitation is sent to you.

If payment does not complete, no booking is created. The time you selected is held for you while you have to complete payment, and shows as busy in the calendar during that window. Once the window closes, the time is released back to everyone.

Rarely, I may not be able to accept a booking that has already been paid for: something unexpected may come up at that time, you may not meet the prerequisite for the course you chose, or the request may not look right to me. If that happens I write to you with the reason and refund the payment in full. I start the refund within 3 working days of making that decision; depending on your bank it can then take a further 5–10 working days to reach your account.

If you prefer, we can arrange another date, another course or a healing session instead of a refund. The choice is yours.

5. Right to cancel (cooling-off)

As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for services.

However, when booking you expressly request that the attunement or healing session be performed at the date and time you have chosen, and you acknowledge that once it has been performed your right to cancel ends. This consent is taken with a separate tick box before payment.

Accordingly: once the attunement or healing session has taken place, the right to cancel no longer applies to what has been performed. Before it takes place, the cancellation terms below apply.

6. Cancellations and refunds

More than the notice period shown on the booking page (currently 24 hours) before your session: you can cancel using the link in your confirmation email. You receive a full refund. If that period changes, the booking and manage pages always show the current figure.

The refund is not issued automatically; I start it myself. I do so within 3 working days of your cancellation; depending on your bank it can then take a further 5–10 working days to reach your account.

Inside that period: the booking can no longer be cancelled from your own link. Please email me instead — I will listen, and where I can I will move the session to another date. This is goodwill rather than an entitlement.

After the attunement or healing session has taken place: the service has been performed, so no refund is due. For packs and programmes, clauses 7 and 11 apply.

If the session does not happen for a reason on my side: you may either choose a new date or receive a full refund. The choice is yours.

Refunds are made to the original card by the original method. Depending on your bank this usually takes 5–10 working days to appear.

7. Packages

When you buy a package you pay for all of its levels at once. You book the first level straight away; the remaining levels are credited to your account and you take them when you are ready, in separate sessions, with nothing more to pay.

The credited levels do not expire — you may use them whenever you wish. Each level is completed with its own handbook and its own certificate, and your confirmation of performance is taken separately for each session.

If you ask for a refund before any level has been performed: the full amount is refunded and the credited levels are cancelled.

If you ask for a refund after one or more levels have been performed: the performed levels count as delivered and are not refundable. The single-level prices shown on the site for those levels are deducted from what you paid, and the balance is refunded. Because the package discount applies only when the whole package is taken, it does not apply to a partial refund — the calculation uses the single-level prices. If the balance comes to zero or less, no refund is due.

When a refund is issued, any unused levels still waiting in your account come to an end.

If I stop teaching one of the levels in your package before you have taken it, you may either choose another system of the same value or have that level's share refunded. The choice is yours.

8. Rescheduling

The same notice period applies to rescheduling: if there is more time than the period shown on the booking page before your session, you can move your booking to another time, free of charge, using the link in your confirmation email. No additional payment is taken for rescheduling.

When you reschedule, your booking returns briefly to "awaiting approval" so that I can confirm the new time, and the calendar invitation is sent as tentative. Your payment stands as it is; you do not pay again. Once I approve it, a final confirmation email and calendar invitation follow.

9. Nature of the service

Reiki and energy work are complementary practices. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or medication, and no particular health outcome is promised.

If you have a health concern, please see your doctor and do not stop any treatment you have been prescribed.

10. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please write to me first — I don't believe there is much that can't be sorted out.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved is governed by the law of England and Wales. As a consumer you do not lose the protection of any mandatory consumer rights in your own country.

11. Reiki healing sessions

A Reiki healing session is not a course: it is a 45-minute distance Reiki session and includes no attunement, handbook or certificate. It supports your wellbeing; it does not replace medical or psychological care, and no particular outcome is promised.

For a single session you choose the time when you book. For a 3- or 5-session pack and for a 4-week topic programme you choose the time of the first session when you book; we arrange the remaining sessions together after it. Pack and programme sessions are to be used within 12 weeks of purchase.

The clauses above on the right to cancel, cancellations, refunds and rescheduling apply in the same way. Each session given counts as delivered and is not refundable. If you ask for a refund after one or more sessions of a pack or programme have been given, the single-session price of each session given is deducted from what you paid and the balance is refunded; the pack discount does not apply to a partial refund.

A £5 discount code given to you personally can be used only for Reiki healing sessions, only with the email address it was issued to, and only once; its expiry date is given with the code.

12. E-books

The books “Reiki ve Alternatif Şifa Sistemleri” 1 and 2 are sold as PDF e-books in Turkish and in English (you choose the edition when ordering; the price is the same): £12 each, or £20 for both (paying in Turkish lira: 900 TL each, 1,400 TL for both; fixed prices that do not follow the exchange rate). Each copy is prepared personally for the buyer and carries the buyer's name on every page; the download link is emailed within 24 hours of payment. The link is valid for 30 days and 5 downloads in total.

The e-book is for the buyer's personal use only. It may not be copied, reproduced, shared, published online or sold, in whole or in part; you accept this with a separate tick box when you order.

Right to cancel: if you change your mind before the download link is sent, just write to me and you will receive a full refund. Once your personal copy has been prepared and the download link sent, the digital content counts as supplied and the right to cancel ends. If there is a problem with the file, I will send a corrected copy free of charge.
