The level IX symbol is called The Great Happiness which aims to assist you in finding true happiness in life. Happiness means to love and accept yourself and others unconditionally.
The level IX symbol is called the Great Happiness. The intention of this level is to help you stop searching for happiness outside yourself and find its source within.
Here happiness is not treated as a pleasant mood but as unconditional acceptance: loving yourself as you are, and extending that same acceptance to others. The symbol aims to soften the self-judgement that stands in the way of that acceptance.
The symbol can be used in your daily self-practice, in distance work and during meditation. In the first weeks after the attunement, most people notice its effect most clearly in the way they speak to themselves.
This level follows naturally from the Great Freedom and Great Peace of levels VII and VIII. Happiness is built on ground that has first been freed and settled.
Prerequisite
You are expected to have been working actively as a Reiki Master for at least six months. The levels are taken in sequence.

The level X symbol is called the Great Hope. It aims to allow you to always see that there is hope in all situations. There is never a reason to lose hope both in a personal and collective sense.
